He was obviously lying to you....the reason why men tell women they're gay in a break-up and lie about it is because they think the woman will not understand the true reason or make a big scene. So they're ""gay"".Nothing much you can do or say about that..its an easy way out....

Maybe he's a liar and maybe he's gay. He's a gay liar. Let's say he is gay of no fault of his own and does actually marry this younger women. You should be glad about it because if he is truly gay, neither of you will ever be man enough for him. Let him live his life and reap what he sows. You should move on in confidence. There is someone out there for you. There are two types of people in this world, seasonal people and roots. Too often we make the mistake of mistaking seasonal people for roots and we waste years trying to root a seasonal person.

My college boyfriend told me he was gay when he broke up with me. It made me feel like those two years were a lie.
Years, years, years and years later he tracked me down, and said he was "confused", and since his "experiment", has gone out with the right and the wrong kinds of women.
"So, what are YOU doing?" he asked me.
"I'm Married with three kids."
He was shocked, as if I was supposed to be patiently waiting for him.
My answer to you is:
1. You did not make him gay, if that thought ever crossed your mind.
2. To men, sex is sex. Gay bi and straight are just labels which they use as convenience.
3. Inform the younger woman of his gay lovers. Not as revenge, but really, doesn't she have a right to know? You can do this through the grapevine. How dare he? He's preying on her naivette (sp).

Wow.
I would think that he is lying, but is the woman he's marrying a "woman"? She could be a transgendered person?
Or he is a lying jerk, and he figured telling you he was gay to leave the marriage would be less of a blow(It's not you, it's me...) to your ego.
All I can really say is you are way better off with out him.
Good Luck to you.

Obviously he's a lying S.O.B. He was having an affair with this younge woman and wanted a way out. If he was TRULY gay he definately would NOT be marrying a younger woman.

ofcourse there are many other factors invovled and we do not know your husband.
He may be telling the truth but because he cant get to grips with his sexuality its easier to live the lie then to change your life considering he has been married
or he could be lying and didnt know how to end it, but to say he is gay and assuming you guys are in the same circle of friends thats a big risk he is taking

He might have wanted to get away from you, and saying he was gay was the kicker. He might actually be BI and like it both ways. Since he's gone, try not to let it bother you. His life is his own.

He's out of your life and that's all that matters. Go out and have some fun, he was probably a boring fart who didn't know how to have a good time to begin with. It's time to celebrate.
