We are both very poor and he does not want to have contact with our kids and wont be paying child support. He was very physically abusive to all of us. We have no assests. We live in Michigan which is a "no-fault" state. I do not know he whereabouts, so I am unable to get him to sign any papers. Any advice?

I am not a child asking this question, and yes I know why would an adult ask such a thing, but I feel like I should still do anything my parents say, I am just ready to live my life and try to understanding why they have treated me so wrong, when I feel that I have done everything that I could for them, my husband said to just try to do my best, but not to total boot them out of my life. Someone told me to go seek counciling but I just don't really believe in that.

My friend, who is like or should i say, was like a sister to me backstabbed me..again. First, she completely blew me off and insulted me infront of my boyfriend and all the other guys. Then, she convinced my boyfriend to 2-time me with her, next she had a party and didn't invite me, and finally, she blames me for this mess. oh my goodness, where do i start. we've been dating for 2 1/2 years and everything was going great. we did the long-distance thing for bout a year. then the past 3 months have just been crazy. we broke up like 3 times but we would get back together. he surprised me and came to visit me for 5 days. the last day he was here we had an argument and broke up, but before he left we talked about it and everything was fine. but later on i found out he had a profile on the internet, that said he was single, and he had nothin but females as his friends, and even some of the females im still suspicious of cause i know they're not just his "homegirls," i aint stupid and mama didnt raise no fools. so i asked him about it and we got into it and we broke, up. but this time its different, we havent talked for a week, i call him, text him and email him but no response. i'm really hurt, he was my 1st & only luv, and i want him back. i've never had to go through this b 4. Someone asked for an original thought... here is mine.
My analogy of why people cheat or don't cheat...
I have a car in the garage. It is a nice car, nothing wrong with it. It gets me from point a to point b. I like my car.
However, as I drive past the lot I see a new red jeep. I don't want to get rid of my car, I just want to drive that one. I might take it for a spin; I might even come back and drive it another day. But I don't want to get rid of old faithful.
Maybe I feel like driving a sportier car when I go on vacation. I might leave mine in the garage and get a mustang for the week.
Some people however will drive by the same lot, look at the jeep and think... "I sure would like to have that jeep. But I know I can't afford it." So they don't because they are afraid of the costs...

okay i have two friends, Ryan (a guy that has been trying to get me but gave up) and Mikell (my best friend) Well those two went out for a little bit. Except after like the third day he e-mailed ME saying "i can't go out with kell anymore, this isn't working out. I still have feelings for my ex-girlfriend. please help me out, the mother of my husbands little boy doesnt want to go to court for child support. they were never married and they both agreed on the father just buying what the little boy needs. well now he wants to do the right thing and have something set up on child support and visitation but she doesnt want to go through all that. but he is worried that she will come back in years and say he never paid for anything. can he try to go to court, have it set up so he can pay child support, see his son on scheduled days without her agreement?? how will the court favor that??? please let me know, i want to try to do everything i can for him so we can get this taken care of. he loves his son soooo much and misses him like crazy when he is not around and he is just trying to be a good father and take care of his son..

I absolutely hate being divorced, I wish my ex wasn't so selfish. He never let me be a stay at home mom with the kids, but the minute he moved his wife in, she became a stay at home mom. Now they have the kids 40% of the time and I hate being a part time parent. I never really got a chance to be a full time mom like she is to her kids. He brought the kids home tonight and they cried an hour for him after he left. It really sucks my kids got the raw end of the deal because of his selfishness. They always want to be at daddy's, my life revolves around custody schedules. He's ruined my life. Anyone relate?

i've been dating this guy for 15 months and he's all around good(he likes to surprise me with nice gifts and plan out some exciting events for us), except that he doesn't seem to find me attractive at all - or he refused to give me a nice little compliments every now and then. the thing that bugs me the most is he isn't the type of guys who doesn't like to give compliments, better yet, he has complimented a few other girls except for me, his so called girlfriend. also, everytime we hang out with his friends and they'd compliment me about how pretty i look then he'd burst out something like, "nah, she ain't all that"..i mean, i'm already accepted that he doesn't like to make me feel pretty, but why even bother to say something that he knows would make me feel bad. i've tried pointing out the problem to him and his response is always, "you're just overreacting"..so what should i do..i really can't stand being with somebody who doesn't think or make me feel pretty.. *sob*
