She's turning 15 and I want to MAKE a special gift for her. I'm not really much of an artist or an arts & crafts person so I need some pretty basic ideas. And please don't put "just go buy something"

A gold chain with a small heart pendant. Or a single pearl pendant. Gets me everytime.. ;) Or if u wanna MAKE, this mite be good - get a fancy box , put FIFTEEN simple stuff that u thought she mite like i.e a fluffy pen, a poem, a home-made chocolate muffin, a picture of her..and top with a dynamite cute birthday card.

Okay. This is cute. And, I know you mentioned that you are not an "arts and crafts person," but this will not be time consuming. Promise! Go to an arts and crafts store and purchase a medium sized basket with a handle. In the basket, add lotions, creams, body washes and spray from bath and body works. The best scent is white cherry blossom okay? Now, I know that Bath and Body works sells their merchandise in baskets, but it will be better coming from you. If you are on a limited budget, you can purchase the smaller bottles. Just dont buy her the hand sanitizer. That is tacky. Make sure one bottle says body spray, another says lotion, and another cream or shower gel. They are usually $3.50 and often at a reduced price below that. Okay, so that fills up about 1/3 of your basket. Next, buy a small teddy bear, one that she can cuddle with at night, or take with her on field trips, etc.... You can undoubtedly purchase the teddy bear from the arts and crafts store as well. If you wear a cologne that she likes, spritz a small amount onto the bear. Okay, now your basket is 2/3 full. Now, does she like chocolate? What girl doesn't like chocolate? Purchase a bag of Hershey's kisses or some other cute decorative chocolate and place them in a baggy, tie with a bow and add to the basket. Finally, do you have a picture of you two together that you really love? Purchase a cute frame for it, perhaps a heart shaped frame and add it to the basket. Again, you can get the frame at the arts and crafts store. Complete your basket with a small bouquet of wild flowers that you can pick up from the local grocery store. That shouldn't run your more than $5. Oh, and the bottom of your basket can be filled with a bag of potpourri that you can purchase at the craft's store for no more than $3-5. You will nee to open that bag of potpourri and dump into the basket's bottom to fill it up. Gardenia is a great scent if you can find it. If not, any will do. You just want the bottom of the basket to be filled, and then you stuff your items into the potpourri. Makes for a great scent and a lovely touch. Do you have a Michael's (arts and crafts store) where you live? Your mother would know this. Do not purchase a cheesy birthday card for you girlfriend. Write her a personal handwritten note/love letter and wish her happy birthday. Check with your mother and see if she has some beautiful stationary. I'm sure you two make a sweet couple. ;)

15 huh. well lets see. when I was fifteen, all I really cared about was straight A's and my boyfriend. So Id say make her a cute little card saying how much she means to you, then take her on a really romantic date - since youre so young and cant drive, go to a neighborhood park for a picnic or something. also girls that age LOVE to wear their boyfriends' clothes, jackets - so always offer her one when she's cold and let her keep it for a few weeks... Just be a nice bf overall and that will be the best bday present a high school girl would want

i can tell you really care about this girl. For a gift what you need to do if you want to make something for her is to think about what she really likes , you for instance. And find a creative way to express how you care for her. If a did that for me i would be extremley happy. If you can't think of a good way to express it you can buy her a nice locket with your pictures in it. Or a gold necklace with a pendent that says i love you and write a nice card for her. well u can make a nice card out of construction paper and write out a poem on the inside about how u feel about her then you could make some homemade chocolate hearts on a stick
but some chocolate bars and some popsicle sticks...then get molds of hearts or flowers or something and melt the chocolate and pour it into the molds and add the stick its a nice romantic gift she will love that its homemade

Get a picture of the two of you and find a cheap picture frame with a large border.
Find "stuff" that defines your relationship (ie, a movie ticket, or a flower, or, well, anything that's small enough) and glue the items all around the frame...
Be sure to include little stuff that represent YOU and HER and YOU AND HER. You should have no problem finding a drawer full of crap in no time...
Trust me, she'll love it.

that is so sweet. a wonderful romantic idea is to pack a picnic and take her to a nice park or pretty field and then make her a crown of flowers and just spend the day letting her know she is loved and special. girls love stuff like that . i hope it helps.

Do you have pictures of the 2 of you or her and her friends? You could make her like a memory book or just make a photo album for her. Put letters and stuff in it, too.

hmmm. 15. that was a long time ago for me...but, why don't you ask your mom if you can cook her something, with mom's help of course, cut some flowers for her. make her a cd with her fav songs. talk to her parents and tell them what you are doing so they will let her come to your house. good luck, and i wish my daughter had a guy like you

1st of all y do u have to make it. if its cause u dont have $ than thats stupid cause if u like her and she likes u then the amount that the present cost shouldnt matter. but a picture of u and her would be cute like in a cute picture frame or something. but ne thing will work. a locket would be cute w/ pictures of u 2!
