Someone asked for an original thought... here is mine.
My analogy of why people cheat or don't cheat...
I have a car in the garage. It is a nice car, nothing wrong with it. It gets me from point a to point b. I like my car.
However, as I drive past the lot I see a new red jeep. I don't want to get rid of my car, I just want to drive that one. I might take it for a spin; I might even come back and drive it another day. But I don't want to get rid of old faithful.
Maybe I feel like driving a sportier car when I go on vacation. I might leave mine in the garage and get a mustang for the week.
Some people however will drive by the same lot, look at the jeep and think... "I sure would like to have that jeep. But I know I can't afford it." So they don't because they are afraid of the costs...

You are wrong. In your analogy the vehicles involved have no feelings, thoughts, desires, hopes, dreams or aspirations. Only YOU have those things...and that is a very selflish way of looking at things. People are not material objects for you to amuse yourself with. To.."take for a spin".

Nice i like it, simple yet straight forward. I also like the one cheating is like that stupid tree in the forest, if no one is around to hear it then it didn't make a sound. LOL

Nice analogy but think about this....happiness is not getting what you want, its wanting what you got. so what is it about you that makes you want what you don't have, it will never be good enough. you'll always be looking for what you lack on the inside.

That sounds about what people think. But I dont believe in sex before marriage or cheating. I would never ever cheat on my gf. She is mine and I am hers and I would NEVER even THINK of cheating on her!

Umm.... sure. If that's how you truely see it then you are right on. You're opinion is what gets you through your everyday life decisions and if that helps cheating make sense to you then so be it....
