My husband and I were watching a movie, and I realized that something was coming on tv shortly and I wanted to check it out. I asked my husband for the tv remote, but he decided to change the channel instead of just passing the remote to me. I asked him why he wouldn't give the remote to me, he then asked me why do i have to give you remote? After the bickering he told me that he did that just to see if I would let him change the channel or if I would get fussy about not getting the TV remote myself. Why would he cause this arguement when we were having a nice time? What was he trying to do or prove?

This guy I know has flirted with me sometimes, was mean a couple of times. But now he's been really nice to me lately. But just in a really friendly way not flirty. Sometimes he makes eye contact and sometimes he doesn't even acknowlege I'm there. He's 23 and I'm 33 do you think this could have something to do with it? I feel he's giving me mixed signals but maybe he just likes me as a friend.

Has it strengthened or weakened you? Would you change anything given what you know now from conception until birth? How did your partner manage? Do you consider your child a special gift from God?

There are 5 ppl i consider as really close friends...and two of them celebrate thier b'days, one in Jan and the other in march... and for their bdays nobody was bothered to shop for them or so it seemed so i felt so bad and i made cards for them and told the others to sign and all but I find out later that four of them have indeed pooled in and got them gifts...one an i pod nano and the other a really expensive watch...but they didnt tell me..and i dont know why...i've always tried to be there for them, done a lot of **** for them sacrificed my time, energy and everything, and the most humiliating thing was that i had made them cards...out of paper glitter and pens...I felt sooo stupid... are they really my friends?? Im sooo lost...i care a lot for them...but i feel so betrayed....And im not in any financila difficulties that i couldnt contribute..

I have a colleague that seems to have her volume set to "high" all the time. She speaks too loudly when we are in person, on trains, at the bank, in restaurants, in taxis...wherever and whenever.

She is the only person that I have to hold the phone way out and away from my ear when she is talking. She just blasts through. I feel rude telling her to be quiet all the time. I don't know her that well so I can't joke around with her like she is an old friend. It is getting to the point where it is embarrassing to be in public with her. Do you have any *tactful* ideas?

i'm 25. i've never had sex. never had a girlfriend. i've been to adult friendfinder, match.com, all kinds of places to try to get laid. there's no hope. i'll be a virgin forever if i don't get it soon. should i get a whore? i don't want a relationship, just sex. pure, hot steamy sex twice a day is the ideal. i'm a normal guy, educated, fit, and of good height. what is wrong?

My boyfriend [soon ex-boyfriend] is a wonderful guy, and seems pretty into me. Yet I have decided to break up with him; I'm tired of him, and I am absolutely sure I need to.

The thing is, I can't do it for the next there days [I'm busy], and the only other chance I get is in two weeks at a gathering with friends [I would break up with him near the end, when people are leaving.] He has contacted me by phone, and I am desperate to avoid him - I'm really not into him anymore. But should I just break up with him over phone? Or drag it on until the gathering and do it in person? [I hear in person is the best way, and most fair, to break up with a guy.]

My boyfriend and I have had a rough couple of weeks. I was at his house four nights this week because I've had a lot of bad stuff happen to me this week and I needed a shoulder to cry on. Last night we were talking on the phone and he told me not to take it personal but having me over was "getting old". So tonight I had planned a surprise night of candles and music and alla that stuff, but I'm not sure if I should give him space instead. Any ideas?

always on the weekend, i have tried to get a legit answer on why he dosnt want me to go but he always says he wants time with his boys and that hes stuck with me all the time and he wants some alone time, but when he leaves he expects me to stay home and wait until he comes home, he gets mad if i leave, sometimes he takes 2 hrs sometimes even longer. last week he suddenly invited me to all his games, i thought everything was ok but when we came home he started complaining that because of me whe had to go home and that he didntwant to leave he wanted to watch the other games ect. i never said or acted like i wanted to go home. so now for my question if he invites me to his game this weekend should i go or not? im scared that if i dont go he wont invite me again, but i dont want to hear that he regrets taking me beacuse it really makes me feel bad please help!!!!

These days premarital sex, the loosing of one's virginity, cohabiting, divorces, pornographic books and movies, multi partner sex and so on are all very common. It has become a part of our society and life.

Yet, why is it most people still find it difficult to accept a new step parent, or a parent's divorce, or a spouse infidelity, or even a step sibling?

Why is it when daddy brings home a new mummy, she is still treated with utmost suspicion? Likewise, why will a spouse feel incensed if his/her partner has cheated him/her?

Aren't are all these things common today? Will you accept it if your spouse told you she was formally a prostitute after your marriage or will you accept it if you know your daughter is sleeping around? Why wouldn't you accept these? Aren't they part of our lives today?

I hope you get what I am trying to ask.

I am simply looking to see what it is or isn't about me that women don't want. I work hard, play hard, don't take life for granted, friendly, caring, trustworthy (ex-wife cheated on 3 times), faithful, Christian, devoted father of 3 yr daughter, love the outdoors, movies, theater, art, all types of culture and I love people in general. Would never do anything to be mean, harsh or hurt someone. I would give the shirt off my back if you were in need of it. I am 34, 5'7 1/2'', 150lbs, blonde, blue eyes, Hey I am not a model and am glad too. I am level headed and down to earth. I know, understand and love the meaning of family values. I love spending time and doing those things. To me sometimes its the little things that count more than the big extravagant things that people do to impress. What happen to the basics? Like putting a sticky note on the mirror to tell her that you love her. What's so hard about that? Its just the thought process that goes into. That's what I have to offer
