They just purchased a new home and I know that I will be invited to their gatherings. Will it be wrong if I do not attend? My husband and I really can't stand her husband and in-laws. I'm scared that I will tell the off one day. My husband is black and they make him feel un welcomed. They are iggnorant and racist.What should I do?

I've been with my fiance for 2 years on June 22. We've had our ups and downs like everyone does but I'm now pregnant and he wants to get married before we have the baby and yes I do love him very much. But i would like to wait until a year or two after I have the baby... So what should I do?

My boyfriend and I are fighting. I have a 2 year old daughter and he is always going over my head and trying to discipline her and sometimes he gets so frustrated that he yells at her. We have only been together for 4 months. Do you think he has any say in how I raise her? I feel like he is trying too hard to be 'daddy'! He always asks what's wrong and when I try to tell him he gets defensive and won't listen. I don't know what to do... I feel like I don't have say in how MY daughter is raised when I'm around him. How would you guys approach a situation like this? Is it even worth working out!? Why does he do this???

I have the looks, but he shines in every other way possible. He is not attractive at all to the rest of society, (born w/ facial disfigurement)but I got to know him, and I'm in love. No, neither of us r rich. My family is unsupportive thinking he's some kind of freak and can only think about what other people will think. I'm thinking of just cutting them off. I really like this girl and she really likes me but feels guilty being around me and stuff bc shes not allowed to date until shes 16 and were only 14. I am a plus size beauty *wink* and I do look after myself. I watch what I eat, I have lots of fruits and veggies and I read the labels on food to know the fat and calorie intake. I'm not lazy either. I go to the gym 4 days a week and I care about how I look and present myself. Most of all, I pride myself on being a caring, open minded and happy go lucky kind of gal.

So why all the negativity people???!!!

The family has financial & marital problems. Then the baby boy of the family (4 yrs old) died suddenly. The big sister is turning grief inward. Tt only comes out as anger. She's very smart, but wouldn't turn in homework, so she went to summer school. Then she managed to get kicked out, so she will be repeating 6th grade. The parents love her but aren't very strict disciplenarians.

She doesn't exercise much.
The family doesn't eat right & kids get themselves snacks like chips & coke.
She sleeps all day & stays up all night.
She locks herself in her room all day.
She has hinted at suicide. We are treating this as a serious cry for help, but we think thats all it was.

Medication is NOT an option.

The family is Christian, so don't give trite anwers like "Put your faith in God." They are already doing that. They need hard advice WITH DETAILS & WEBSITES. But Bible verses to support suggestions will carry a lot of weight with them.

I broke up with her a month and a half ago after a 3 year relationship. I did the crying thing etc, but now i'm just getting on with things and trying to have fun with my friends. She broke up with me stating a lot of ridiculous reasons (my friends believe she met someone, but to be honest, if that was true, i'm glad she dumped me!). I haven't tried to contact her for a month or so now, and I haven't said one single nasty word about her to anyone. I keep hearing through friends that she has been saying lots of things about me, like I treated her badly, I'm a coke addict (I don't touch the stuff and I was an ideal boyfriend!!!! Well, maybe not ideal, but I never nagged her, she had her freedom to do as she pleased with her friends etc) and other things like that!! Why would she say things like that about me when i've been nothing but nice about the whole situation? When I got dumped, I gave her a lift home and wished her the best!! Why is she trying to turn my friends against me?!?!

I'm just sad, i want to be my husbands real best friend but he cheated and it's questionable how far they actually went but who cares things are just differnt now. I used to feel really special i used to put him on apedastal and brag about him. i really thought he was the most good looking guy out there and i never even thought about other men in a sexual way.
