I take it extremely seriously and will be expecting an engagement ring as the bare minimum ha ha ;-)

I think it depend,cos if there is a married guy flirting with a girl online and he have wife n kids i dont think he is 2 serious abt this girl,he is just doin in it for fun... but sum singels might b serious

It's DUMB!!!!
The way things are going there will be no traditional courting or meeting people through everyday life.
In the future people will not meet their future husband/wife through everyday life etc, they will simply chat on the net, have some cyber sex and then eventually get married over the net.
They will then 'create' children (little avatars you know) and they will bring them up together, when the sprog has a problem, the 'parents' won't seek to assist the 'child', they will simply post the problem on Yahoo Answers ...
... Okay, I went too far in this answer but you get my point.

Flirting on line can be fun, but too many people take it seriously. You never know who you can run in to that will do anything in their power to try and find you. It's called obsession!

Depends on the individual. I DON"T take it seriously. I've got a man at home, and would like to keep it that way. Besides, it kills me when girls flirt with him online. So I guess, what you say ONline might be taken seriously at HOME. OMG, I'm babbling, just shoot me now...............

Depends on the person-remember you are dealing with TOTAL STRANGERS when you are online-you have no idea of who they are or what they are like or what they are capable of-you have to be careful!!

Beware u mite not be takin it seriously but some do. So better dont play with people emotions. They mite get obsessed as well

if i'm honest i think people online like messing around with peoples head and their feelings, but it really depends on how long u've known some one online, but i wudn't trust anyone online if they were fllirting with me. but like i said it depends on the situation
