You wonder, when you see so many women intentionally dating men who mistreat them, and defending it because he's a "challenge" and "he wears nice shoes".

I have a best friend who is having an affair with a married man for 3 months now. She is a teacher. What makes her life complicated is, she is having an affair with the father of one of her students. They have been very discreet but i really feel so sad for her because I know she is on the losing side. I know deep down she is unhappy being the other woman but I think she is so in love too. I have tried talking to her once but she won't talk about it.

I work as a home support worker (Mostly helping seniors with personal and/or house care. It's really great to be helping people and the hours and people vary enough to make each day different. But it doesn't pay a lot. I used to work in offices and made lots more but the tedium was so depressing. I lost that last job because I wasn't bilingual but in what I am doing now, that isn't a problem and there is no danger of ever losing my job. My concern is that if I stay away from office work too long, my qualifications will become stale. My income is currently supplemented by child tax benefit and orphan child benefit (daughter's dad died when she was 8) but both these will end when she turns 18 in 3 years.

My name is Emily and I'm 16. Last year around November I started dating an older guy. I've never been pretty or very skinny. So once when I was 13 I met my friends cousin, J (we'll call him that) he was 18. He wasn't the best looking but We talked and I admitted I liked him, he dared me to kiss him but I didn't. Once again 2 yrs later we talked and he did the same thing, I finally did and he practicallly sucked my face off, later he asked me out and I said yes. We only saw each other once more during our 1 month relationship. I broke it off because I didn't like hiding the relationship from people because he was older. Now he's e-mailing me again and I'm not sure what I should do. My BFF (His cousin) Says "Ew don't date him, he only wants to use you, and he's ugly anyway" But she's his cousin soo what should I do?

* I want to make this clear to people incase their wondering, I am still a virgin.

Okay, my girlfriend is a grade lower than me and I'm in 9th grade in high school and her grandparents are making it nearly impossible for us to communicate. They ground her from the phone for no aparant reason and other stupid things like that. I know that most older people tell me I'm to young to be getting in a serious relationship but I am actually in love for once. Can someone please give me some advice, or tell me how I can keep in touch with her until high school?

Is it ok for your girlfriend to kiss another guy on the lips, even though the guys are just her good friends? I mean like lets say if you go out with your girlfriend and she sees one of her guy friends and greets him with a quick kiss on the lips , is this ok? I don't think so...what do you think.....

What do you think about long distance relationships and why? Are you in a long distance relattionship or have been in one in the past? I am in a long distance relationship and I love him more than anything. Our relationship is going very well. I don't see why people don't think long distance relationships can work. It just requires more trust. If you answer this please tell me your age and gender. Thanks.

Do any of you ladies that have ads on dating sites have men that seem interesting respond to your ad and then just kinda disappear? I will get 4 or 5 responses that sound good but it seem like it never gets past my responding to them. I have also found that I never hear from anyone who just "winks" at me so I have stopped responding to them.

Does it arouse women to watch two men have sex like it does for men to watch two women? If so, do women fantasize about participating in such an act?

For men, does it really excite you to watch or participate in a threesome with two women? Elaborate.

So, i'm 23 and from England. When I was 19 I met this Russian girl for a first date, we went out
and i found out she had a boyfriend (who was 32 and living in russia, but we hung out as friends...
it went great though, we hung out for a few hours at the marina, i dropped her home, then i called
her a few minutes later to see if she wanted to do anything else, she invited me in, we stayed up
til 8am talking then she went to uni, i went home... 3 days later we hung out again, and we stayed
together for about 2 weeks... After the first 4 days we did sleep together, but then we didn't again,
she said she just wanted to be friends and we stayed together, then she had to move out, whilst she
was taking summer exams, I looked for a new appartment, which she instantly accepted and still lives
in the appartment i picked out for her, after these 2 weeks she was going home for a couple of months
to russia, her BF had been in hospital (sick... i dont know why - he was depressed alot apparently)...
During this time, I Missed her like crazy, the day after she went, she called me to see if I was good,
not being able to take my town anymore, I took the opportunity to travel to the USA, i was there for
3 months... during this time we spoke a little, I sent her an email telling her how much i felt and
that i couldn't forget about her... then 3 months passed and i came home... i actually had her key to
her appartment because she let me use it when she went to russia so we had to meet up on the day she
came back to the UK so i could give it to her... when i met her, she was with an older friend, at
first i thought it was her BF, but it was a friend of his, i gave her the key, we drunk coffee, I left...
A few days later we met up, at our favourite restuarant, she told me how when she went back, she had
called her boyfriend my name, he got upset and forbid her from seeing me when she came back.. literally
we'd meet up a few days every month and he'd always be calling her and stressing her out, she would break
down, it was pretty hard on her, and hard on me too. We saw eachother a few times, I took her on a trip
to see my old town, she loved it, she had said she loved me once before... it was sorta unspoken and
unshown between the two of us... her BF wouldn't let us hang out, he said, she could leave him for anyone
as long as it wasn't me... Anyway she thought about leaving him, I thought she would, I went back to america
for 3 months when she went away for christmas, the next time I spoke to her, she was getting married, and
she did... I saw her once after those 3 months... saw her wedding photos, she seemed unhappy, we hugged
and I left. I don't think we've spoken since, she spoke so fondly of me.. I just don't understand why
things happened like this... it's been 3 years since i first met her.. and a year and a half since i last saw
her, i can't get her out of my mind, i've dated 40 girls, had 3 relationships.. ugh... any advice?
