My name is Emily and I'm 16. Last year around November I started dating an older guy. I've never been pretty or very skinny. So once when I was 13 I met my friends cousin, J (we'll call him that) he was 18. He wasn't the best looking but We talked and I admitted I liked him, he dared me to kiss him but I didn't. Once again 2 yrs later we talked and he did the same thing, I finally did and he practicallly sucked my face off, later he asked me out and I said yes. We only saw each other once more during our 1 month relationship. I broke it off because I didn't like hiding the relationship from people because he was older. Now he's e-mailing me again and I'm not sure what I should do. My BFF (His cousin) Says "Ew don't date him, he only wants to use you, and he's ugly anyway" But she's his cousin soo what should I do?

* I want to make this clear to people incase their wondering, I am still a virgin.

hi emily!! if you like him then go for it..but the only main thing that you should know your limitations..i hope u know what i mean..me i like to date older guys too but my experienced is not that great..most of them they will try to use you..some of them they just really likes you for who you are..youre still young and there's a lot of guy out there and its your decision whether u want to take a chance..get to know him first and ull see..and ask him straight like what his intensions for you!!!then ull go from there!

take care

Think about it. You BFF told you he only wants to use you. Why would your best friend lie to you? Even though she is his cousin, it doesn't matter when it comes to things like this. And I doesn't sound like you really like him. So I think you should tell him you don't want to be in that kind of a relationship. Don' date him!

It sounds to me that you dont have the greatest self image and you like the idea of this guy because he shows interest in you and you like how it feels.
it doesnt seem like you are attracted to him and I think that you are just more into the idea of having this older guy in your life... my suggestion is that you continue to be friends but for now try to find a guy your own age (one that you can actually be seen in public with)

if u broke up with him cause u dont like hiding it then i dont think u should worry about him. u can talk to him on the email thingy but dont go back out w/him. he sounds like he only wants u for kissing and "other stuff".

do what your heart tells you to do. if it works out, great. if it doesn't, then that's also great because you won't have to go around wondering "what if" all the time. and about your virginity, hold on to it til you're good and ready (preferably til marriage)because once its gone, you can't get it back. You'll know what i mean once yours is gone.

YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME. DON'T RUSH INTO ANYTHING YOU'RE NOT READY FOR. I'M 46, AND I REMEMBER RUSHING INTO MY FIRST MARRIAGE WAY BEFORE I WAS READY. IT WAS A DISASTER. I THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMEONE OUT THERE FOR EVERYONE, AFTER ALL, THAT'S WHAT MY PARENTS SAID WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE. I WENT INTO A REALLY BAD DEPRESSION AFTER MY DIVORCE. BUT I GOT LUCKY. I DID FIND A REALLY GREAT LADY WHOSE NAME IS BARBARA. AND WE JUST CELEBRATED OUR 16TH ANIVERSARY. AND I RELIZED THEN THAT MY FOLK'S WHERE RIGHT. IF YOU REALLY WANT ANSWERS TO YOUR CONCERNS, YOU REALLY SHOULD TALK TO THEM. LIKE MOST KIDS, WHEN I WAS 17, I THOUGHT MY PARENT'S DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING. BUT WHEN I TURNED 21, I FOUND OUT HOW MUCH THEY LEARNED IN 4 YEARS. PLEASE, ALWAYS KEEP THIS IN MIND. GOOD LUCK!!!

Don't get involved with him. Guys have something big to hide when they want to hide you.
