Do any of you ladies that have ads on dating sites have men that seem interesting respond to your ad and then just kinda disappear? I will get 4 or 5 responses that sound good but it seem like it never gets past my responding to them. I have also found that I never hear from anyone who just "winks" at me so I have stopped responding to them.

This has happened to me several times! I got to the point of actually talking to a few over the phone and them telling me that I sound interesting and what not, then they seem to disappear of the face of the earth. I actually met 1 guy that we hit it off, but he never got back to me, so I let it go! It's hard, but I can say that I did finally met a guy online and we have been seeing each other since Christmas. So, don't give up yet!

damn, I think everyone knows the answer to this one.. we ALL do.. l00% of us. I'm so damn fed up w/the whole shitty thing, it's unnerving! Man, my self esteem's dropped a hundred points. (The online dating thing sux..) I might get 'desperate' (go back to locals? nah, not that desperate yet.) I think w/so many dudes on the loose/prowl it sux for us women (in spades!) I don't know about the 'winks' thing. Guys are such assholes.. they think they can 'pick and choose' (even the fat, bald, ugly ones that are married and cheating!) The computer screwed us women royally! (sorry, just so disgruntled here .. ) later- (melancholia)

uh i hate that when they dont respond but maybe its because they dont see anything that is fun about you or intresting about you, i guess but most of tha time they do respond and then they leave for a while, i dont like it when they do that too
