I have a best friend who is having an affair with a married man for 3 months now. She is a teacher. What makes her life complicated is, she is having an affair with the father of one of her students. They have been very discreet but i really feel so sad for her because I know she is on the losing side. I know deep down she is unhappy being the other woman but I think she is so in love too. I have tried talking to her once but she won't talk about it.

just be there for her when it all comes crashing down. she will really need someone then. if you are able to talk to her, remind her that she will get fired if this gets out, it happened at my high school, and it was sad because the teacher's children went to that high school.

This can be a potentially dangerous situation if her student finds out. She should be smart enough to know that she will come out on the loosing end of this. Your best bet is to probally just stay out of it.

Be a good friend and support her in whatever she does. Accept her for who she is. People always do things that hurt themselves. It just is what we do. Our best friends are those people that were just there. They didn't judge us. They were always available. They understood our situation from our perspective and they were cool with it. You want to be one of those friends. If you say anything about it being bad for her, bad morally, or negative in anyway, she will take it as an attack.
