I like being slapped around, but my boyfriend can be as romantic as I want him to be. I love him, and I don't think that I'm being mistreated because I am a masochist, and I personally like it. I don't think romance is dead, it is still alive somewhere, but it is getting slowly buried. I agree with goldwing110083, and I don't think that women should be equal to men.

Theres still romance out there u just have to find it and when u do don't let go of it.Me and my old man has been together sicen we were 12 and i am 23 now and the romance is still there.I love him more and more every day.

It may not be dead, let's just say that it is terminally ill. AS long as women chase men, there will be no romance...why should there be? Women liberated themselves but lost the battle.
