I am a very feminine slim woman who likes to paint my nails etc however I also go to the gym and take self defence classes etc I am becoming a police officer in a week and what I really want to know is do guys prefer a stepford housewife or a tough girl who can take care of herself ??? I got chatted up on the weekend but when I told this guy about my new career move he was totally put off I guys intimidated by women who can hold there own ??? and girls what do you think do you find you have a similar problem and what reactions do you get from men ???

this person is with someone else...I know it sounds crazy but Iam in love with my ex, its been years, ofcourse during this time he has been with someone else (for about 8 months) but I can almost feel him still having feelings towards me..Whenever I decide to move on I bump into him or something...weird.. He always looks at me even he is with her.We have not talk since the breakup but there is just something that holds me back from moving on from him.

My friend and my brother called my crush, Shawn. He is cute, sweet, funny, smart, and all the stuff you look for in boys. When my brother called he yelled Ashley (me) wants to go on a date with you over and over again. Then my friend called and said do you like Ashley like a girlfriend? He asked if I was with her, I accidentaly yelled out no. He said he would talk to me at church the next day. I was so nervous, I can't tell you what I kept doing. I went to church and we starting talking some. We usually get snack and I did not get anything and he offered to give me some of his and he has never done that before. I have not gotten nack a couple times in the past month. Do think he likes me or is he just being nice cuz he knew I was nervous cuz I was shaking?

I have since forgiven him we have been married for 15 years, but I find myself treating him very badly, with putting him down or ignoring him or just giving him a dirty look here and there, I cant seem to just forget it, does anyone have advice to help me resolve this issue about myself. My cousin got in trouble for writing "f*ck you a**" on a peice of paper at school. Ever since then, he has been really sad about feeling bad words towards his mom. He told his mom that he has been thinking bad words about her. Such as the "b word" and the "a word". Yesterday, he told me he was thinking these words about her. However he does not claim to be mad at her and she has not done anything wrong. Why is he saying these things? Is it solely for attention or is this is way of dealing with naughty words? PLEASE HELP!

But then today i was viewing this question that ended up being something really negative so i went to my history so i can erase it because if my parents found out they wouldf think i'm addicted to porn or something which i'm not! This guy I'm sort of dating lately decide a couple days to just stop talking to me out of the blue. He text me today and told me that he likes me alot, and it made him nervous so he needed a few days to himself so that he wouldn't push me away. What the hell is that about?? When I first met this guy he is almost perfect. No alarms went off. He took me to Hawaii. He says nice things to try to impress me. He proposed to me after geting my parents consent. He buys me flowers. He has a glow in his eye everytime he looks at me. He has a good job. He's diffinitely in love with me. However, he is messy, unorganized, owes the world debt, cant pay bills on time, loves video games too much, isnt impressed by physical fitness and is so-so in bed. I think I'm misserable. Somehow, I cant leave him. He always sneakily convinces me with his reasons of why I should stay with him. (ex. 1. no one is perfect. 2. You knew all this when we met. 3. I'll change. 4. He totally avoids the subject when I bring it up.)
