When it is clear that it is Satan warming the ovens of hell for the impending Apocalypse?

The obvious answer is mass-produce
LOW-cost
Water-Tight
Housings - for shelter and transport, isn't it?
With powerful solar (corporation quality) cells and wind-power fitted...

Nobody is working on those as a contingency to help the public...
(cos if we had those we wouldn't pay through the nose to keep the existing...)

We need to get with it!
Stop being distracted...
The hazards are real.
But Doomsday does not need to be inevitable!

Global warming, rising water levels, and more frequent, violent storms and erosion.

What coastal cities or areas do you think will disappear, or become an island?

Do they think that people with dark skin would "cook" first, and then when only white people are left they plan to fix it?

That the Deniers had given up their harrassment? Perhaps gone off somewhere to do something useful with their lives? Maybe realized that talking about Al Gore doesn't cause you to be seen as smart. So did I. Then the Evening Shift showed up, or High School let out, one or the other.

Personally when I see a question regarding Al Gore like this one:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhiY0r28UP6NF2ANQsQsLgAFxgt.;_ylv=3?qid=20070924144015AAbxxOf

It makes me think that the asker is desperate for any argument to convince himself that global warming is a non-issue. Al Gore is completely irrelevant, and if you need to use him as an example to justify your own irresponsible behavior, then perhaps a bit of self examination is in order.

When you see a question like this, what's your reaction?

Ok.

We all know about global warming.

Well if global warming continues and the polar ice caps melt and stop the ocean's convayerbelt thing-a-ma-jig, we'll plumit into the next ice age (bye bye global warming. Hello global freezin-our-butts-off)

What are the numbers? If global waming continues to increase, how soon will the next ice age be here? Will it be within our life time? Later? SOONER?! WHEN?!
Also, how would we adapt? Would we all move to the equator? How many people would die? What about animals? Would we see an increase in animals able to survive in cold weather? (Deer, bears, wolves, etc)

Would we see animals from the last ice age return? I dont think we'll see any mammoths...but will bears get bigger (to the size of cave bears) and what about deer will they be like those giant deer? and will wolves become like dire wolves? And in the case of mammoths.Would elephants adapt to the cold and be the new mammoths? Will rhinos grow thick coats and be the whollyrhinos?

The use of nuclear energy could substantially curb our CO emissions. If your concerned about global warming, shouldn't you support the use of nuclear energy?

hi. im a teenage girl and i would like to know how i can really get involved in the community in the sense of trying to get people to help with preventing global warming. I feel very strongly about it and I am constantly turning off lights, not letting water run, anything I can do to help with the cause. I tell people about it, but no one really takes me seriously even though they know the problem is there. it's not like they don't support my position, because they do, but no one seems to care enough to do anything. are there any ways that i could contribute and get involved? such as donating to a company, or joining some group? i really want to help out, but i don't know where to start. i'm 15, any ideas?? (also, how can i persuade people to watch what they're doing...starting with my family!! we even watched 'An Inconvenient Truth', so they know the facts and statistics...)
thanks =)

If we are all here in 2500 or 5000 years I am sure they will say humans are causing the glaciers to swallow NYC.

BTW, has the temps even gotten as high as they were in 1000 A.D. when the Vikings settled in Greenland?
