People who believe in global warming believe that global warming causes hot, cold, melting ice, growing ice, hurricanes, lack of hurricanes, lack of snow, abundance of snow, rains, droughts, floods, disease, petulance, day and night.
Every thing that happens is because of mans actions.
They are pure altruist, believers in the concept of original sin.
For warmers, it's a religion, not science.

The theory is that if the oceans get warm enough, ice around Greenland and the North Pole will melt, making the water in the area less salty. Because fresh water does not sink like salty water, the North Atlantic current, which functions on the principle of water sinking as it gets colder and saltier, and also which brings heat to much of Europe, will shut off, causing areas in this region to become much colder.

If global warming disrupts ocean currents (possible) some areas may cool down. But it's more likely they'll just warm less.
In any event, it won't trigger a worldwide ice age.
