It doesn't. There is nothing man can do to effect something as huge as the environment.

my community has never heard of it
And when i try to raise the subject at meetings
they tell me to shut up
they say that it is a gringo problem.
And obviously Mr Jello has not been in many changed Environments .
he has not seen the many desserts made by little old man in the past as well as today,or the rivers that have dried up in places like Africa ,because of people
or the erosions caused by mans deforestations on the mountain slopes of Chiapas
the building of the Armada totally changed the Environment in Spain as the Phoenician fleet changed Lebanon-.
Insignificant man has done nothing else but change his environment for already 6000 years
even more so today with bad agriculture and expanding civilization ,exchanging forests for open land mono cultures ,cement and tar
Pollution has only been an issue since the last century
the planet has been here a lot more than that
and so have people.
the most drastic effects of global warming are on microscopic levels ,we will get the full crunch of that as the effects work their way up the food chains starting with insects ,
but never the less already 150000 people are reported to die each year Global Warming related
this is expected to double soon.

global warming means warmer winters and even hotter summers. Also it melts the polar ice caps, so the sea levels will rise and it will affect the fishing industry. (this will affect local ecomomies) Also depending on the climate it can be good and bad for agriculture in different areas. This issue also makes the world start to think more about how we can make our enviroment cleaner, therefore more inventions and ideas are being created to help out . And last but not least, since the radiation is causeing the o-zone layer to creat holes, it makes it more dangerous for people to be out in the sun too long without sunblock. (May increase risk of skin cancer) A good source for learning about global warming is an inconvenient truth. (even though most of the movie is based on opinionsthere are many other opinions in this world about this isssue)

The most important effect that comes to mind is that we need more energy. Grid power consumption is skyrocketing where I live, largely due to the increased need for air conditioning. Secondly, as crops are becoming affected by changes in climate, it's more challenging to recalibrate our food distribution system, to get food from where it will grow to hungry consumers.
Pretty sobering, in the face of an energy crisis. If you're fortunate enough to live in a community that is acclimated to the weather and accustomed to growing its own food, be glad!
