Let me ask you a question.IF you were in a position of certain power, and had developed a certain type of technology that can be implanted into the human body. That can trigger the minipulation of the jetstream, simply by someones depleating food consumption.I don't need proof that this technology exists.I've lived with it almost the lenth of time i've tried to report it up to todays date, and almost up to the aprox seconds.Lets see,11yrs 9 months 3hours and counting. You see, somthing went terrabably wrong and they know it! So far i'm the only one that can explaine it." I dare anyone to prove me wrong." Now you tell me,which story would you tell the public. My quess is it would be,The Inconvenient Truth. How am i doing.I have so much to tell, but im not going to be tell it on line.I could prove what i'm saying simply by telling you to watch the weather forcast for the week, and have you watch me change it.You've all seen and herd the Meteorologists screw ups,how do think that happenes?

I want to defend the position that humans are contributing to global warming by using scientific evidence and peer reviewed articles. Damn near everything I can find on line is just people jabbering their un-scientific opionions. I want some hard proof. can anyone point me in the right direction. (this is for me to disscuss with my friends, not for anything acedemnic or profesional)

Scientists are reporting that the atmospheres of Mars and Venus are also increasing in overall temperatures. So if man is the CAUSE, that means we must be on those worlds too. If not, then Global Warming is a Natural Development.

For Example, during the 1930's Eugenics was the big deal, I t was beleived that mentaly handicapped people, and the like should not be allowed to breed. Hundreds of scientists supported the theory,it had the suport of the national academy of sciences, and American medical association, and the national reserch council..Germany took it further ,and put the theory to practice., Jews where considered as inferior, and millions died as a result.
Some where some one has a hidden agenda,, News reports about Global warming are beginning to have us beleive it is more than a theory..As if mere man can effect the weather ??

well i know of small things like...we shoudn't we wasting our food...n we should try to cut down on our fuel consumption...save power as much as we can do...try turning off unnecessary lights and using minimal air conditioners...but what can we do on larger scale???its get tough trying convincing others to do so...even our governments know the situation but are not acting i an alarming manner...

Not saying that I disagree with the concept of global warming but: If the Earth, this force that we have been living on has been around for millions and millions of years, is it logical to believe that we can destroy it in just about 200 years? Just wondering. I know I'm going to get stupid responses but just a few intelligent ones too please.

Could someone help me to interpret this graph here
http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/gene/peakoil/co2-400k-years.gif

It appears that quite frequently(specifically at the 325,000, 135,000, and 20,000) the CO2 line rises after the temperature rises? By this I mean, at the points mentioned above, the temperature rises and then there is space to the right between the temp line and CO2 line? Does this mean that there is no correlation between temp rising and CO2?

Also at the right end of the graph it shows the highest concentration of CO2 on the whole graph but not the highest temperature. Does this also mean there is no correlation between the two variables?

Recently an ancient lake in darfur in part of what is now the saharah desert was discovered. They say it was roughly the size of lake Erie and that roughly 5,000 years ago there were multiple lakes and rivers in that region and that the landscape was much different including lush vegitation, wildlife as well as human settlements. At another dried up lake they discovered in that same region they found tools and other items belonging to humans living in that area. So what happened? how did a lush area with lots of life and water turn into the Saharah? Were the humans in that area driving suv's and not recycling? And thus whamo global warming and hello Saharah? Or is it that the earth changes regardless. It is what it does. So don't feel guilty that you fly airplanes and smoke cigars. We are not to blame. Light up and enjoy the ride and when the earth decides to remodel don't blame G.W. .
