I'm 19 and i'm in college. I'm workin in a warehouse where my partner is 20 years older than me. he always say that it's a blessing to live 41 years. He try to make me beleive that the fact that he's older than me, i have to agree with everything he says. sometimes he doesn't make no sense at all but he always try to make it look like he's right. He's bossy. he actually moved down here from pennsilvania. Sometimes he tells me that i'll never have somethin good to tell him cause i've only been in south florida. Let me be honest, i wasn't born here but i came here legally. My first day wit him he was always talkin about immigration. When i realized that he was really telling me stuff bring me down, i stoped him right away. So he never talks to me about immigration no more. One time, just to test me, he asked me the difference between THEIR and THERE. I told him and he was supprised. So it was my turn to ask him something. I gave him two fractions to substract and he ignored it.

I know from my study of agriculture and economics (my degree is in agricultural economics) that any variable input results in diminishing returns when input is added at a higher and higher level. Has anyone studied atmospheric co2 in this manner? In agriculture, which is a natural science, if any variable (such as water or nitrogen) results in diminishing returns when added at higher and higher levels. I have received the same results in econometric models when variables are added when building econometric models. My hypothesis is that increasing levels of atmospheric co2 will result in global cooling not global warming. Any comments? Any research in this area?

If cars cause 9.9% of human caused green house gasses world wide, but cars cause 27.6% of the human caused green house gasses in the USA. What would happen if all the people stopped driving cars in the USA and just used bicycles? How much would these green house gasses go down world wide? Hint for liberals, if you are truely concerned about green house gasses and you just concentrate your efforts on USA cars, then you are overlooking over 90% of your so called problem. Or maybe this isn't a world wide problem as they say? It would also hurt the USA economy but I guess that is what Liberals want anyway because they hate the USA for some unexplainable reason.

for the same tasks in new or used homes no matter if there going to be or are powered by coal and oil or coal and natural gas etc...? Even if it used fossil fuels aslong as it was in only a night time and auxiliery role? Could this be done in a way that allows people to keep there existing power hot water and heating setup as that backup? Could it be bought on payment plans that garentee lower bills with no money down until there paid off so that companies that build them consumers that buy them and the environment that's saved a little bit with every purchase win?

I have enough problems in my life to worry about it. Sure, I'm all for the planet and recycling etc. but the fact is I'll be long dead before I have to worry about it. There's not much I can do anyway, it's a by-product of a capitalist and greedy society.

I am always stressed about these big bulky plastic detergent bottles that I empty every couple of weeks. If a store can provide a water dispenser, a coke machine, etc....Wouldn't it be expedient to have Laundry Soap dispensers?

Anyone??

Why is U.S. (WalMart, consumer magazines, etc) mounting an "environmental savings" campaign to eliminate U.S. standard light bulbs for the new spiral fleurescent bulbs--last longer, use less electricity. Why is no one sounding an alarm when they read this P.S. in articles:,
"Be sure never to throw a spiral bulb in the trash, as EACH BULB CONTAINS A SMALL AMOUNT OF MERCURY.--discard in harzardous waste. NEVER BREAK ONE (if you break a kitchen bulb you will have mercury mist all over your food)." In the past US has eliminated environmental pests by importing a bigger and more invasive environmental pest. Help! Why not wait for a newer SAFE bulb in the works?

Why not go back to the nickle-a-bottle GLASS bottles?

Lets assume that we continue living the way we do. Will global warming truly be as catastrophic as people are saying? Will the Ice caps really melt? And if they do, will the damage really be that bad?
