I am too. But I am one of those people that thinks global warming is no big deal. Sure, it will get warmer. But only a little warmer. And sea levels will rise, but only a few inches and even that will take many years. We do need to do something about it, especially since oil is running out, but no need to walk 12 miles to work or give up air conditioning on a 100 degree day. We need to develop nuclear fusion power. We need to make solar cells cheaper. We need to make more energy efficient appliances and cars. We need to develop alternative fuels, like ethanol or bio-diesel. But we don't need to ruin the economy or disrupt people's lives to do that. All those bad things will happen in good time, when we really do run out of oil, if we fail to develop alternatives in time.

Whether sitting in an AC room is right or wrong should not change the importance of the issue or make people reject lifestyle changes because they believe celebrity activists are hypocrites.

In Ohio, you need heat in the winter and AC for some summer days. I have one window unit ONLY and run it in my bedroom instead of cooling the whole house. It means holeing up in here, but I can't see cooling the whole house for myself.
Unless you yourself do without AC, I wouldn't suggest that other people are hypocrites.

NOPE.
It's 90* outside, I don't have the AC on. I've got my windows open and the blinds pulled on the sundown side. I've got these wonderful God given trees keeping it cool in here.
Okay, it is 74 degrees in the bedroom. That's not bad, in my humble opinion.

We don't have to stop doing things to reduce global warming. We can still have air conditioning, drive cars, go to soccer games, have international conferences, etc.

We just have to do them smarter and more efficiently.
