I noticed this in the Featured Questions.

Global warming is NOT caused by man--it's a natural cycle. Why is it that Heidi Cullen wants global warming skeptics to be stripped of their AMS certification? If the truth is on your side, you shouldn't have to resort to such tactics!

Read about Indonesia's ban on sand... And from what i read, it's the ban on concreting sand?

How about sand for beaches? Are the sand used for beaches and golf courses the same type of sand? If the sand are different, then where do sand for beaches and golf courses come from? The sand are finer than the concreting sand i think? Found this topic interesting :)

global warming is a very bad thing, very bad. can anyone devise a way to rid of this gas. it must rid of billions of tons of carbon dioxide every year constantly. stopping to create more is good, but the gas already in the air is what causes most of the damage. i was thinking, what property in plants allow it to create oxygen from carbon dioxide? we could probably harness that power, amplify it, and use it. although probably not. any better ideas?

We keep on destroying the hills and mountains for the sake of
CONCRETING THE ROOFS, WALLS AND FLOORS, IN ALL TYPES OF HOUSE/ INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTIONS.
We go on paving the thar roads in National high ways and local roads and streets, by breaking all mountains only!! That too WE PUT ON AND ON AND ON, TO THE OLD THAR ROADS, BY MIXING THE “BLUE METAL/ JELLY” FROM THE DESTROYED HILLS AND MOUNTAINS!!

I once wrote a poem in Tamil as “our present surfacial Roads are nothing but our ancient elevated Mountains in the past!!”

My questions is:
Can’t we re-use the same “ already used blue metal” in a recycling way from the same road itself!! There by can we not avoid the unnecessary height goes on increasing in the streets too, year by year that gives undue charges for heightening relatively, the ground-floors for the building owners?

Are we really aware that our mountains and forests are being destroyed for our selfish-nature and BAD PLANNING?
What are we going to do?
