here are a couple and some solutions and a good source of info

there are natural cycles in the planets life
but a lot is influenced by mans existance ,and this is increasing with overpopulation, putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms

some home truths

politicians and scientists who work for politicians have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change and change effects many people income, and most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.

in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification

in recent times thousands of people have died because of exessive heat, usually old people.in India ,Mexico and France,
deforestation causing desertification, the desert conditions causing very cold nights and scorching hot days

in china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert, the globe where they were got to hot for them .
and instead of producing food they are now needing it from some where else, and they will drastically effect the world food prices when they start buying water in the form of grains ,at any cost destabalising governments, in some countries ,could be the result
(are you seeing more Chinese around interested in agricultural lands ,we do here in Mexico)

,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and all of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,not getting less ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were no desserts.

collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like, over grazing and fertilizers,

as far as the food production is concerned, Global warming or some of its effects are serious, rising seas result in landloss

each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss

more landloss because of desertification every year,we have less areble land to produce food ,for an extra 70 million people ,

and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
who are overpumping deep carbon aquifiers
who are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,
because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary or over grazing

RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
this does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.but the melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.

Global warming is in theory reversable, but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,

At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where.

SOLUTIONS
if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to reverse the destructive processes

reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.

the capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.

the world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia

Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.

the protection of existing forrests.

stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.

education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.

education on environmental awareness
education on family planning to curb over´populaion

Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.

more environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks

,more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour

alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine

recicling wastes,limit water use

Not Humans!

The earth goes through periods of warming and cooling. This has been going on for millions of years. There are times when the Sun actually burns hotter, warming up the earth.

If global warming is only caused by the use of fossil fuels and aerosol sprays, how did the earth every get out of all those ice ages before these things were invented?

The biggest and maybe the only reason is burning fuels at high altitude. As if JET traffic. There is no rapid natural method for clearing CO2 and H2O from 20,000 ft and up. Jet engines burn 2-5 tons of kerosene per hour. Each ton of burned fuel produces 3.66 tons of CO2 and 1.56 tons of H2O. There are thousands of hours of JET traffic every day over the earth. Once those elements get to the surface of the earth they are taken up instantly. The natural circulation of the air is warm up at the equator then cold down at the poles. There are intermediate patterns of this all the way to the poles. The two hemispheres weather systems do very little mixing.
CO2 is cleared from the air by two methods.
1. Plants take it up instantly when they are growing. As not in the winter. Plants need sunlight and water to grow and thrive. Most need temp of over 60 degrees F. So plants do not take up CO2 in the winter or at night. Land mass is only 15% of the earths surface. This is a very minor way for CO2 to be cleared from the air.
2. Water absorbs CO2 instantly and goes to H2CO3 which instantly goes to a buffer system with Nabicarb. Colder water holds more gases. The CO2 is held in this buffered state or used by ocean plant life or released in the warmer time. There is so much water on the earths surface, and the buffer system is so vast, that CO2 levels can not rise at the earths surface. Unless it is measured in the winter,in the dark, behind the exhaust pipe of a vehicle. These are the next layer of 'Inconvenient Truths' that Mr. Gore did not mention in his movie. It makes it easier to persuade people who are gullible, as in dupes, rather than honestly evaluate the matter.

The more CO2 there is in the atmosphere the more heat the atmosphere holds (rather than radiating it back out into space).
CO2 levels are currently higher than they have ever been in the last 650,000 years (based on ice core samples). This is what scientists are worried about.
The fact that this sharp increase in CO2 coincides with the presence of man on Earth is why so many scientists believe that man is the cause of the latest warming trend. We create huge amounts of greenhouse gasses while at the same time deforestation reduces the Earths' ability to clean up those gasses.

there are many reasons for 'global climate change".
to put it simple, the cause for global warming is:
Imbalance

Imbalance in the chemistry of the atmosphere
imbalance in the ecological systems of the earth
imbalance of microorganisms
and an imbalance between the ears of people who keep denying it.

first thing is pollution either by natural way or by manmade. global warming is caused by green house effects which is done by the gasses i.e. Metahne,Carbondi oxide,Nitrous oxide and most important CFCs which traps high wavelenth radiations from earth and return back to it,which make the earth warmer, if there is no green house effect then arth temp will fall by 20 degrees.

The Chicken Little Syndrome. An insidious mental disorder which causes fear, panic, and hysteria over anything that nothing can be done about. It's a phobia of sorts. They believe that worrying about unimportant and/or unchangeable things gives their lives "meaning".......or something......I don't know what. I'm a realist. I'm really disappointed about how easily so many people can be infected by these people's delusions. They're the Jim Joneses of junk science with al gore as the lead quack.

the gradual increase of the temperature of the earth's lower atmosphere as a result of the increase in greenhouse gases since the Industrial Revolution
Visible, shortwave light comes from the sun to the earth, passing unimpeded through a blanket of thermal, or greenhouse, gases composed largely of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone.
When the sun's rays enter the earth they cant escape back leading to trapping of heat around the earth hence causing global warming .
burning of fossil fuels
deforestation

global warming is due to pollution all over the world.today India is one of the most polluted country in the population world ranking.
there is excessive use of fossil fuels due to which there is pollution
