From my perspective people on both sides of the issue are getting a little out of control. One side has their fingers in their ears and the other side is wildly blaming things on Global Warming.

Assuming science is correct, This IS a slow process and it could have some drastic consequences on the planet.

My question is do you think Global Warming believers are hurting their own cause?

It's been getting like every heat wave, a lack of snow here, any weird thing is getting blamed on global warming even though it is not scientifically based.

Last month I got in an argument over how there was so little snow due to global warming, to which I replied BS. Thankfully for my ego the country was promptly BURIED in snow.

I just think in the long run people who don't understand the science which I think is well founded and I personally beileve in are leaving themselves open to contradiction and hurting their own crusade.

1) Only extract plastics, glass, metals and completely ignore the precious metals

2) What sort of volume would one need to do to make it worthwhile, if the facility is located in a country like China or India where there is ample cheap labor. (I know it would be difficult to answer this without further details, but even a rough estimate would be useful.) Thank You.

This is my question for my really, really important science fair project.
I will try the answer to say which one will die first.
TOPIC
“Which plant will die faster; soil contaminated with corn oil or soy bean oil?”
I chose this as my science investigation topic because I had always been amazed at the effect oils caused on plants.
I decided to choose this as I always used to think why my mother sometimes uses corn oil and sometimes soy bean oil in cooking?
Then this great thought struck me that I could conduct an experiment on whether corn oil or soy bean oil could affect the plants growth.

PROCEDURE
Buy 100 grams of kidney bean seeds.
Plant 3 seeds in one pot. Another 3 in another pot.
Keep noting the height of both plants everyday; write them down.
When plants are about 8 inches in height, start pouring 50 ml of soy oil and corn oil into the first pot and second pot respectively everyday.
After seeing one plant in a worse condition than the other, write a conclusion.

bees? Entire colonies of honey bees have been disappearing recently and nobody knows why. Why doesn't this seem to be a concern? Did you know that honey bees are directly responsible for 30 percent of our food supply and indirectly responsible for another 30 percent, and that all life on earth would die out within 4 years if these little creatures become completely extinct? Where are the questions, the debates, the concerns regarding this issue? How can this not be of much greater importance than this so - called global warming business? If you ask me, somebody had better figure this out real quick or we are all gonna be in trouble!
