Global Warming can be summed up like this. GO TO THE VIDEO STORE, RENT "An Inconveinent Truth" AND WATCH IT. Basically, here is how things work. Then sun heats the Earth during the day. The "heat waves" that it produces heat the Earth. Well, as with all heat, heat rises, and most of it is supposed to go back out into space. Well, we have pollution in the atmosphere, which prevents those "heat waves" from escaping back into space, there for warming the planet. With more heat waves arriving, and less escaping, you get global warming. You really need to rent that movie. It will explain everything, and then maybe you need to do something.

yes there is global warming. the earth is on a natural cycle and has been for thousands of years, but , the burning of fossil fuels has amplified the warming. oil. the world is slowly burning up because of it, wars are being fought over the very thing that will destroy us all. the gasoline engine has been obsolete for 50 years, and we have a president who is an oilman, and does not care how many lives are lost to make sure we pollute the earth even more. i cant understand why. hes already got more money than he knows what to do with.

For the last 100 years or so the average temperature of reporting stations around the world has shown an increase of about 0.02% per year. The trend curve, however has a really, really poor correlation to the data, as the average annual temperature of the Earth fluctuates wildly.

I hear conflicting reports as to what it is exactly. On one hand you have a group of scientists telling you that ozone layer has depleted enough to allow harmful ultraviolet rays into our atmosphere. Then on the other hand you have other scientists talking about more and larger electrical storms annually around the world. Shh do not tell the other set of scientists that electrically charged atmosphere is ionized. That is what the ozone layer is, ionized atmosphere.

Due to pollution, green house gases, i.e. carbon dixide is getting trapped in the atmosphere, and this gas, along with other gases are forming a blanket around earth, which is causing the gradual increase in global temperature.

ACTUALLY, GLOBAL WARMING AND OZONE DEPLETION HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ONE ANOTHER. THEY DESCRIBE TWO DIFFERENT PHENOMENAS.
