Last summer was rather more hot and sunny in the UK then usual. Some people attributed this to Global Warming. However surely if Global Warming is caused by excess gases like CO2 creating a "greenhouse effect" this should make no difference to how sunny it is. The sun will shine or not shine no matter what.

I read a craft/fashion magazine and a recent issue backed an anti-fur campaign and promoted totally synthetic products that give a furry effect and don't harm animals. Now though, there is an ad in there by a company which uses possum fur in its products and says it is ok because they are culled to protect other animals that are being endangered by them, plus the WWF is backing possum culling. Is the mag contradicting itself here or is this kind of fur-wearing ok? I don't think it is right myself but what are your views?

I have always known about global warming, and it's dangers but recently I read an article about bears who are not going into hibernation simply because it's too warm. All animals are out of sync with their environmental clocks. I feel this is horrible. What part do I have in this?
