i read in new scientist magazine that there are little black worms that live in glacial ice.. and organisms that live in potent "battery acid" (sulfuric) in caves... and bacteria and lichen on the south pole... and bacteria that lives by eating iron at the ocean floor... and
of course there are many many types of crazy looking fish deep in the ocean that have no eyes and soo many more we havent seen... there is even a fish whos blood is clear and has the same oxygen content as the ocean it is in because the water is like a degree from freezing and if it had hemoglobin it would be too thick.. the point is that live is insane and has found a way over millions of years to life almost everywhere.. some habitiats have very little life.. but i dont know of any with none.

No. Bio means life...this includes microbes. Where there is water there is life. The desert cools at night, creating condensation . Life does not have to be visible to the naked eye to exist.

My ex-wife's brain was dead... no life at all... I spent years trying to inject some life into the dormant organ she kept hidden under her rats' maze of a hairdo.

I tend to agree with Sammy, the dead sea is far to saline for life to exist there.
