From what I've heard, the earth's supply of fossil fuels will run out in the next century or so.

So my question is: how long will it take for the earth to repair itself from global warming, the enlarged hole in the ozone, the greenhouse effect, and all that other stuff we've caused by burning fossil fuels?

Now, I know that the earth will never completely "heal" itself, but how long will it take before the earth will more or less revert back to how it was before the industrial revolution?

Global warming is causing glaciers to melt, which is causing the sea to rise. Would it be possible to build giant pipes and pump the water deep into antarctica or another location where the temperature doesn't rise above 32 and store the water there in the form of ice?

We already have giant pumps and aquaducts all over the western US, couldn't a similar system work to pump water to a place where it could be frozen?

Assume that we would find a method of getting the water there without it freezing, such as keeping the pipes just warm enough so the water wouldn't freeze until it reached its location.
