dual real is right. Coyotes are born in April or May, so coyotes are taking care of their young during the summer. They live in dens near farms and in open woods where the baby coyotes are born. Eventually, the young coyotes will learn how to hunt. They are oppurtunistic and will eat rodents, rabbits, mice, bugs, frogs, carrion, fruit, and pretty much any food. They also swim, but only when its not freezing out!

The animal--hunts or scavanges for it's young....I have 3 dens near me and the young kinda befreinded me..but the adults are scared and stay at a distance and watch...I could imagine the scolding they get when they get home.

They sit around the BBQ and play poker....i've seen some of them doing a square dance...but honestly, why would the summer make them do anything different?
