Doesn't scare me at all. I figure if it's already 200 years past due, it'll manage to hold on another 100 or so.

We live in a very temporary and fragile world. It is not only the threat of the largest supervolcano exploding, but the threat also of wars, epidemics and other catastrophes in the world.

I would rather focus on what is good, what is inspiring and what I can do personally before these threats to our existence start.

And the fact that yellowstone lake has shifted 300 yards in the last 30 years due to magmatic swelling underneath??

Pretty neat science if you ask me.

But no, I'm not worried, just hoping they can evacuate the western US before it goes off next......

Only two hundred years overdue? That's a miniscule fraction of a second in geological terms...

Naaah- I'll worry when it's over ten thousand years late.

Oh, wait... okay, our descendants should worry when it's over ten thousand years late...

It's nature.
Mother Nature will allow the fittest to survive.
The planet will be even more beautiful or barren afterwards.

If it's barren mankind will be infecting another planet.

It doesn't seem it's gonna erupt soon. I'm a bit more worried about other natural or human made disasters that could happen first.

It probably worries all of us, even if only subconsciously, but we hope it won't happen in our lifetimes !!!
But it frightens me to think of how it may hurt my grandkids or their great-grandkids and so on. But what frightens me most is what it will do to this BEAUTIFUL PLANET we call MOTHER EARTH !!!!!

Nope - something to look forward to!
Why worry about things you can't control or change?
Just think of how cool it will look!!!
