I wired two strats (one lace sensors, one vintage noiseless) but I may have a short cause even when I roll the volume down, I still get signal from the pickups. I've tried everything, please, check a picture here:
Thanks!

Singing has always been my passion, but until a little while ago, I never really knew what style was best for me. I realized that my voice is perfect for jazz/blues. Does anyone know any good female blues singers? Preferably white, because its a given that black women have those amazing voices that just scream blues!! lol, so if you can give me a few names I can draw some inspiration from, that would be great!!

I love the blues. Are there any promising blues bands out there that play good down-and-dirty blues, not washed out commercial stuff?

That came to be quite popular about 10+ years ago?
If memory serves me correct, he was young white kid, about 17 or 18 and could really play 'blues' like the best of them.

He got all sorts of accolades from some of the current 'greats', such as B.B. King and got a lot of 'air time' on some of the more urban radio stations.

I want to say his first name was 'Johnnie', but don't remember. If anyone might know who I'm talking about, I'd really appreciate the helpful reminder.

Thanks-

Hi I just bought a Stellar Les Paul copy, but it doesn't come with anything. I know I need a hardshell case, but what kind? What accessories to buy for a beginner...I would imagine picks, new strings (from what I hear about these guitars, but what kind of strings?), an amp, cord, tuner etc...
I'm trying to learn to play the blues. I've heard that I'd need a tube amp for that. Keep in mind that money IS an issue...what do I need to get started? (Assume I know nothing about guitars...which is pretty much accurate anyways...)

Just back from a blues festival and lots of head bopping but hardly any dancing. Can you enlighten me about this? Was it just a weird cultural phenoneon? Or is there a 'too cool' to dance quotient factor I am unaware of?

If the pattern of the blues scales is 1, 3b, 4, 5b, 5, 7b, 1 then how come most of the blues scales don't fit this pattern? An example is the Gb blues scale which is Gb, A, B, C, Db, E, Gb

I have just "discovered" blues music, and so far I love BB King. What "style" of blues is he considered, and who are some other musicians similar to BB? Thanks

So, I've never played a chord in my life, don't know how to play, but I've put it off long enough...its time to learn to play the guitar. I write, and the songs I write inevitably come out in a "blues"style, and I love BB King (who doesn't?). What would be a good guitar to learn on? I would imagine Electric, but I'm open to suggestion. I have small hands, so I would imagine the neck would have to be small as well, but outside of that, I really don't know...any suggestions? Make, model, acoustic, electric, electric-acoustic, cut-away, hollow body, slim-line...its all somewhat overwhelming for the beginner, so any help is much appreciated... THANKS!

I recently went to a blues bar and then the other night watched Black Snake Moan and now I am in the mood to hear some blues. I like a strong electric guitar mixed in there. Can you give me some suggestions on what band / artist I should try listening to?

my most recent find in life is blues rock, at least i think thats the genre it is, im lying in bed one night & i live one block from a night life spot & these two guys are parked right outside my building jammin to what i would guess is blues rock & i wish to god i had gotten out of bed to ask who it was they were listening to cause i cant get it out of my system. so thats why im here & thats my question, can you recommend any good blues rock...with an emphasis on modern day & also a slant toward rock rather than jazz (i mention the last part cause some other blues rock that was referred to me kind of sounded like jazz or something or didnt have enough guitar or i dont know what) i appreciate the help.
