Where did you sleep last night- This has to be one of the most chilling recordings ever, considering that Leadbelly was convicted twice of killing another man. As mentioned earlier, this was also covered by Nirvana.
Goodnight Irene- This is a haunting, powerful song that could seem almost soothing until you listen closely to the lyrics.
Midnight Special- This has been covered many times in different ways, but originally was about being in prison and dreaming of a way out.
