R. L. Burnside (born Robert Lee Burnside, Harmontown, Lafayette County, Mississippi, November 21 or November 23, 1926; d. Memphis, Tennessee, September 1, 2005) was a blues singer, songwriter and guitarist who lived much of his life in and around Holly Springs, Mississippi.

yea...in the show Drake and Josh on nickelodean they have a poster in thier room that says "R L Burnside come on down"

Was an awesome blues player, and recently died, been to jail i believe twice for murder, did his time. He gained notice after Phat possum records started recording his songs as the owner of the label could see old the old Blues men in Mississippi where getting older, but still would rock and the blues joints.

I tunes has his records, His songs had more of an attitude to them, and more of the Delta style to them.

Yes. I heard one of his songs on a local late-night radio station that played a lot of great music you didn't typically hear. I really like his music a lot.
