I recently went to a blues bar and then the other night watched Black Snake Moan and now I am in the mood to hear some blues. I like a strong electric guitar mixed in there. Can you give me some suggestions on what band / artist I should try listening to?

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Winter, Howlin' Wolf, Son House, Bonnie Raitt, Albert King, Jimi Hendrix, Kenny Wayne Shepard, BB King, Muddy Waters should get you started. I loved the movie Black Snake Moan!

Yes I too am in the mood. I also watched Black Snake Moan and now I have this intense urge to go to a Blues joint. You might want to try going to lime wire and searching the genre for a variety of blues players.

I reckon some Muddy Waters would serve you well. Some B.B.King would be good too!

Maybe some Albert Collins.
