I love B.B. King! People often think I'm weird because i am thirteen years old and my favorite artists are Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, U2, and Jimi Hendrix. Have you listened to the B.B. King and Eric Clapton album, "Riding with the King"? If you haven't, get it today. It's really good.

Hey, it's just my opinion but I'll tell you who likes BB King: WHITE PEOPLE! Nothing wrong with that, some of my best friends are white, even the one in the mirror, but I think BB is a kind of a sell-out. Having said that, his guitar tone is instantly recognizable and I think that's great. I know not many will agree with me but there it is. I saw him once & left before the show was over because it was frankly boring. But he's a name that people - usually white people - know & love. For my taste, Muddy Waters is the King of the Blues. Listen with your soul instead of your eyes and you will hear the difference. Now you can rag on me because I have a different opinion than yours. :~)

It is no wonder that B.B. holds the title of "King of the Blues".

I have been fortunate to see B.B. play 3 times in my life and I always considered it a privilege.

BB King is one of the best blues artists ever. He belonged to that special group including John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Albert King and Buddy Guy.
I am missing a wealth of artists but these all were and are influential.

B.B. is great, and how many people in their 80s could still be traveling around, sleeping in a differnet place all the time, and still perform? (although he played his farewell tour in europe last year) His early stuff on RPM is especially good.

B.B. King is a great talent, and one of the few remaining old timers. He's da Man!

I think BB King is great! I have so many of his cd's and records and I just love him. One of my favorites is the cd he did with Eric Clapton. Blues music is my first love anyway.
