Robert Johnson. His music had so much impact on the blues and rock that came later.

Wow, that's a hard choice. I'd say Leadbelly, Blind Blake, Memphis Jug Band, John Hurt, Sonny & Terry, Sonny Boy #1....I can't do it!!! Its like picking which family member you love the most.
