I'm a daycare provider. I have an assistant who is very rude. She comes some days and doesn't come other days. Sometimes we argue while the kids are there. I tell her she's not dependable and then she hangs up the phone. I pay her $3.50/day

I will teach American History to juniors primarily. I want feedback from students and teachers with serious ideas. I will try to implement your ideas in my classes. I am older than most teachers; this is a 2nd career for me, and I am pretty accomplished, and I want to share my values and what I have learned in life with my kids in class. Isn't it the job of the teacher to educate each student and judge the level of learning made by each student. Shouldn't the classroom concentrate on teaching subjects, and not on preparing students to pass a "specific" standardized test. Any thoughts?

I am a Chinese working as a teacher in a middle school. I have to work for 13 hours a day at school. The pay I get is about 240 $ US. It is not easy to find a job in China now. What may come into your mind if you have to work as a teacher for 13 hours a day?

I am taking a workshop this summer and part of the incentive is that we receive a $250.00 gift certificate to spend at an education supply store. I am taking a year off after receiving my BA and want to gain teaching experience. I can't be a sub b/c I need to work full time for the benefits. Also, I'm going back to school next year so I don't have time to get a certificate and then teach. Can I still work full time as a private school teacher?

how to i go about doing this? Where do i go to get certified? I didn't go to school for education...I only have a Diploma in BA. Can someone tell me how I need to go about doing this. Also, what is the approximate pay per day? I know it's different in every state, but I just want to know an approximate.

I would like to find both leisure reading tools and work books to help teach reading skills however anything at a fifith grade laenrer tends to present very child like and for the inidividual I'm working with this is a insult. Which results in her giving up. Any resources or suggestions would be grealty apprieciated.
