Technology has comsumed us and itself.
We use wood burning heat, ride horses , have party lines, enjoy close-knit communities and go to bed shortly after the sun goes down and awaken when it comes up. Everybody has a garden and shares.

Tehnology seems to be increasing at a dramatic pace!! I am sure you can see this very easily in the video and telecommunications arena.
