Studying Abroad

I live in venezuela and i want to study in the US, one of the requirements of the universities is an official copy of all university-level transcripts, and i'm not sure what they mean by that, is only my grades or something else?

There is about 10 chapters of material i have to learn but i don't have that much time, Flashcards always work for me but there is way to much info to put on flashcards, plus it will take up alot of time making them.... I need some advice!!!

How hard is it to study multimedia, graphics as MS CS student ?
I never had much theoritical or practical knowledge in this field until now.
But I would like to take MS CS major in virtual reality and stuff.

Are there Any Exchange Student Programs Out There For U.S Kids? Because I was planning to send my 13-year-old daughter to one, since I want her to get a taste of the world and the education here in my town isn't up to mark. Well, this is a multi-part question. First of all, does anyone have any information on the University of Birmingham or personal experience with it? Has anyone studied abroad in England and enjoyed it?

Secondly, I obviously want to study abroad there but my parents aren't really up for it. I'm sure it's because its a year-long program instead of just a semester. I really want to go but I'm out of ideas to persuade them to let me go. Any new ideas?
