Studying Abroad

I'm attending college next year in the U.S, although i'm quite anxious about going there b/c I don't know anyone. I'm afraid that most Americans will ignore me b/c i'm a foreign exhange student from the Phillippines. Any tips on how I can deal with this?

The second story is a lot more interesting compared to the first story. Furthermore the characters that are being introduced are also more interesting, such as Jung and Frank. Both of them are very similar but they do have differences such as in personality, physical appearance and attitude towards family.
Unlike Jung, Frank is a well grown man who calls himself the “The Brown Bomber”. His personality differs from as Jung’s because he is a carefree person. For instance, he doesn’t care about his father, the environment around him and more importantly his own life. He spends his days and nights at different clubs, gambling places and on the streets. On the other hand, Jung cares about his life and the people that are around him. For instance, when Frank left for the Marines he felt very bad and couldn’t stop thinking about him.
Frank and Jung also differ in physical appearance. As mentioned before Frank is a well grown man with wide shoulders, strong arms and feet. He is very good at using his skills in fights. Moreover, he has fought numerous times that he is very brave by now. Jung is not as muscular, tall and strong as Frank but he is attending boxing classes to develop on his character.
Although both of their past lives are very similar, they have very different attitudes towards their family. In contrast, Frank is careless, doesn’t respect his family and doesn’t value his family or even his father who is the only one left in his family. For example, he doesn’t visit his father regularly. However, Jung has a very different point of view towards his family. He respects, values and cares for the family that had adopted him. For instance, he loves Poh-Poh and used to listen to tale or even short stories which Poh-Poh would tell him.
In a word, Jung and Frank are similar to each other but they also have a few differences which is acceptable because everyone is different.

Good Day!

I am a Filipino college student and I'm currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. I am planning to take up my master's and doctor's degree in Stanford university. What are the requirements to get accepted to do distance courses at harvard?

What if i took distance courses and later on wanted to do my mba at harvard. Would it put me in a godd position to be considered to be accepted in the MBA program?
