I'm applying for college and I've got to fill some papers. I'm asked if I want an associate degree? I don't know what this means. I also don't know what is to major in something. see i just wanna go to college, study two years and transfer into a university to study pharmacy (not sure if 4 or 6 years) and work. could anybody explain briefly what is this all about? i know i sound like a total fool for not knowing anything bout this. i'm from panama and here things are a lot simpler. thanks!

I'm actually an international student in the US on a student visa and I got expelled from a college more than two years ago. I transfered to a university where I only studied English for a semester - I needed to improve my English!!! After that I transferred to a two-year community college where I'm currently studying.

My grades at the community college are great and I'm actually in the president's list which is a huge success since I was expelled. Now I want to transfer to a four-year school so that I can get a Bachelor's degree. Now's the time for the application process; however, one of the questions in the applications is whether I've been expelled. I don't know what to put for that question - the truth or lie???

My concern is if I list that I've been expelled the admission officers might not give me an admission? What can you suggest? Should I do that?

I also want not to mention at all that I've studied in my initial school but I guess there's a record of everything!HELP

A third time. Let me try this again. I am 21 and my professor is 31 (do not comment on age because it's not an issue with me). I know I should wait until after the semester, you don't have to tell me otherwise. It's not a crush. I'm in love (and he's not married). I've known him for almost 2 yrs. How can I tell if a man, one whom is expected to act professional in his field, might be even a LITTLE BIT interested or attracted? Sometimes when we make eye contact and smile, he walks over. He probably isn't interested, but sometimes I get LITTLE vibes he may take some sort of interest, but I could be wrong. What signs can I look for? I feel dumb for asking, but I am a serious and very introverted person and need some tips on noticing certain signs (even things he may do subconsciously). I am not the sort to tell him how I feel, nor will I ask him out. If he was truly interested, he'd ask me for coffee.

Mature advice please. What do I look for? Even for future reference?

like my friend has an 80 something and she has a 3.0 so i would like to know what i got because my school just game me the 84.3 and when i am apply for scholarships they keep asking me for my gpa and when i put in 84.3 they say it's an invalid gpa. if anyone could help me that would be really nice.
