what classes should I take in high school if i plan on going to culinary school?

I'm going to be in 10th grade next year and we got our papers to sign up for classes and i want to know what would be some classes that would be smart to take, if i want to go to a culinary school after i graduate high school.

ok i prolbably should have saod this earlier i am in beginning foods now and i plan on taking the other foods class that my high school has so i know that i should take foods.

If you plan to run your own restaurant someday take business classes, if available.

You've got a good start with your foods courses, but if you want to go to a culinary school, I'd suggest that you go to an out of school course. Check out your local community centre or maybe search the internet. You could also ask your Foods course teacher if there are any good options outside of school, or what they might suggest.
If you have a real passion for cooking, you have to find a way to make it work. Do some reasearch, and work hard. I really hope you get into a great culinary school!

I think that that you should take foods class, also there are some good tech centers that have culinary arts classes. If you graduate from there (only one year) it will count as college credit. If you want to own your own restaurant you should also consider taking baking classes!
