I am a senior in High school and i always wanted to do something in the medical field (nursing or assistance) or arts/creativity i know big difference but if i did poorly in science in all 4 years (earth sci, chemistry, biology) even though i had really bad teachers, does that mean theres no hope for me going to a medical program? And my 2nd option in maybe do graphic designing/photography, or photo editor will i have a successful job out of that in the future? i would like to have some opinions about that, thanks a lot!

What would be a good argument for why we have a need for tuna fisherman and why they need the job? My daughter has to write an essay and she can't seem to find any resources on the internet or not looking in the right place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She is 13, so no smart a** answers please.

I am a very good student, I have never gotten lower than a 90 on my report card..... until now. Our teacher told us our grades in English....... I got a 77. Because I forgot 1 assignment. I told my mom and she flipped at me. She is going to talk to my teacher.
Is there anything I can say to stop her?
Or anything to say to make my punishment less?

I need a topic to research for school. I want the topic to be about teens. Last semester, I did a project on teen plastic surgery and how the media and celebrites influence teens' decesions to undergo surgery. I kind of need a topic like that. Ex: bullies in school and how kids are affected.

either yahoo answers is full of people who are highly educated in every walk of life and who have experienced every experience there is to experience or theres a lot of bull***t artists here. Seems every question has an expert....My question is - How many of you really know all you say you know and how many of you are full of s**t and just make it up as you go along?
Be honest...what do you have to loose, its not like anyone here knows you.

One of our sales fellows wanted a letter typed up with the word 'tercial' in it. I had not heard of the word and decided to check out a few dictionarys. I went on line to four dictionaries and put the word in - none came up with the word and I used 'Cambridge,' 'Encarta,' and 'Websters' - can't remember the other one!
The sales fellow still insists that it is a proper word. Please bear in mind that I was sending this letter to France. The contact in France speaks very good English - but if I can't find the word - will he?

It pisses me off that some times I study so hard but the results are barely satisfactory. I have friends who don't work as hard as me but they achieve better results than me. Why is that so? It really brings me down. What is the best way to study and achieve good results?
