Undergraduate coursework is usually completed at a four-year public and/or private institution of higher learning (a university). As with most colleges and universities, you will be provided with the opportunity of earning a bachelors (4-year) and/or an associates (2-year) degree, and will have several disciplines to choose from (i.e. liberal arts and social sciences, natural sciences, etc.). As mentioned before, earning a bachelors degree usually takes 4 years, but it can be done in 3. My best friend's younger sister completed her undergraduate coursework in 3 years, and graduated with a 4.0 grade point average. Do not think for one minute that it came easily, however. While holding down a part-time job, she managed a full course load each semester and studied every chance she got.

Undergraduate is the degree attained before graduate school. The degree typically rewarded is called a bachelor's degree. Typically it takes four years to get a bachelor's degree. Most people that go to college do not continue to graduate school (an additional 1-3 years). Briefly:

Undergrad: 4-5 years for bachelor's degree
Graduate: 1-3 years for a master's degree
Doctorate: 3-5 years for a doctorate

Undergraduate is 4 years of college. You can complete it in 3 years, but basically you'd be cramming 4 years worth of work into 3 years - not an easy task. If you have a lot of college credit from high school, it might not be so bad.

undergraduate simply means that you're at a 4-year university and you are working towards your Bachelor's degree. Typically, the bachelor's degree takes 4 years, not 3, but if you work really hard and take summer courses and whatnot that apply to your General Education requirements or your major, then you should be able to do it!

An Undergraduate school is any four year college or university, or community college. After you receive your bachelor's degree, you may choose to go to graduate school, which can last anywhere from three to eight years or longer.
