I have Sociology coursework which involved asking people questions. I now have all the results I need and need to do some percentages and things like that.
If I gave one of the catorgaries to you, could you help me out?
One of the catagaries is How Worried are you about Crime in your area? I have got all my results ack and have ended up with this:
Very Worried
Quite Worried-5
Not Very Worried-15
Not Worried at all-1
How would I work out percentages from that, for each sub heading? ie, work out the percentage of women who said they were quite worried?

Hi, my name is Kelly and im 14, i am off school at the moment, i hav'nt been back this term. Im currently being home tutord as i have been badly bullied for most of my life. It began to get worse last year in year 9 nd im dreading what it will be like in year 10. I have a broken leg at the moment.I could have gone into school with it but I chose not to because of the bullying. My leg is almost back to normall and i will have to go back to school after half term. As i have missed alot and i wont have a reason that i could be off school for.My parents rang the school to tell them and they havent yet done anything. The schools arround my area are probley as bad as mine- or even worse. Has anyone been bullied or in a simular situation as me? And any advice for how to go about it? No horrible comments please. luv kelz xxxx

I have been reading and responding to Yahoo answers for awhile and can't help but notice how many bad spellers and typers there are in this world! Use punctuation everyone and spell check!! PLEASE for the LOVE OF GOD!! It's really hard to take ur questions or responses seriously when there is no period to be found in your sentences or your responses have no punctuation(s) at all! I reallly got the jist of this when I saw someone wanted to kill him/her self but couldn't even type full sentences or paragraphs defining his/her feelings. Well please just DO IT!! We really don't need anymore idiots in this world. Please get "edumacated" - it would do wonders to yourself and the rest of us!

Thank u for letting me vent my 2 cents. I'm an accounting "geek" and speak better in numbers than words but I still have issues with idiots not being able to type in his/her own language though. Numbers work better for me, but heck, LEARN how to type and spell people - it's not that complicated!!!

Are you elegible to get accepted, competing with high school students a problem??i'm lost and wondering if i should give up on the dream of going to University in america.Anybody have suggestions..or information on alternative education and steps..I'm in this rut, falling into lost hopes, wondering if there are other adults schools with as many oppurtunities..Can adults pick up the pieces or is high school your only chance to shine..these questions are going through my head lately, I am searching for somebody to please help me to my problems...You would be a great help if you could give me plans and ideas..make my life alot easier so PEOPLE turn your light bulbs on and be graceous.

Hello i currently am planning to participate in the IB program in high school and i was just wondering if it was hard or not? will i be able to have a social life? be able to join in aother after school programs? All of the adults in HS are always telling kids that they NEED to be something successful like a doctor, etc. But honestly, I hate science and I can never put myself through that kind of torture. I do not know what I want to do, and although I am young, I will like to at least get some sort of direction. These are the kind of things that I like;
-I love the world of politics and anything that is considered news, including entertainment. I just love sucking in information
-I like reading about history.
-I plainly just like studying about ANYTHING besides anything that is science related.

Help?

P.S. I took an aptitude test, and it suggested an Economist, Administration, Mayor, or some higher level in some company ruling over people.

I forgot to mention that I am a leader, not a follower.

I was home schooled all of my elementary and most of my high school years. I don't know what would be a good career to pursue. I live in the Philippines as a missionary with my parents, but I would like to go back to the USA to get a good paying job. I don't know what to pursue in order to attain a good job. I love doing computer work, but i'm not sure if that's good choice to pursue or not. I wanted to pursure nursing once, then teaching. I just don't know what kind of jobs are being offered these days. Any advice on the kind of jobs available nowadays and what requirements are usually asked for?

I am a junior in college and regret not living in the dorms from the start. Would I have a hard time trying to do it now? I'm worried about feeling out of place at this point. Some other opinions on the matter would be helpful.
