Preferably someone with some experience one way or the other. I am going to be a pilot but I dont know which schools are the best. Some input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a rather large paper due tomorrow, that got sprung on us just last week. We had anticipated having another week to work on it, but the schedule got moved around, and now it's due tomorrow. I've been working on it all weekend, and I had what I thought was a good section. We're working in groups, so we each have to present a section, and then do a short writeup. Well the prof provided us with no other information aside from what I've just told you. I had about 1/2 page written, with 4 slides of fairly good information put together. Now I just find out that if we have to make up an individual report, of at least 3 pages!!! And I've maxed out my resources. I can't find anymore information! And I don't think I can pad out what I've got to 3 pages. What can I do?! I don't want to do really crappy, b/c I don't want it to affect the groups mark, but I'm really stuck here, and kind of freaking out.

Ok a grading system at my school and some of its policies are pretty dumb..Tell me why this stuff is a good thing and how it affects students directly...or if you agree with me and why....

Ok our grading system is
A 100-94
A- 93-92
B+ 91-90
B 89-85
B- 84-83
C+ 82-80
C 79-74
C- 73-72
D+ 71-70
D 69-66
D- 65-64
F 63-0
this scale is very harsh in many ways because it lets dumb people stay dumb and it should be the college grading system
90-100A
80-90B
70-80C
60-70D
<60F
This one i believe is better and makes it so that dumb people can accomplish good grades with hard work

Another thing is if your ineligible in our school(2D'S or 1F) you cant have access to computers during a study hall. this is dumb because you would think you WOULD want to have the people who are doing bad to get their work done.

I was wondering if there was anything that any of you knew of that would help my concentration. Something I could eat, drink, a supplement to take, whatever. I'm studying for my GED and planning on enrolling in college and if I continue the way I'm going I'm never gonna make it. I have a terribly difficult time concentrating on school work. Help!

Why on a telephone do the numbers go 1 2 3 on the top row of buttons, but on a calculator the top row of buttons the numbers are 7 8 9?

Is this a way of distinguishing between the two? If so, how many people have got confused and tried to make a phonecall on a calculator?

Any ideas on this?

hey i'm a junior and i already hated school,(from like 6th grade and up) but for some reason this year i've just been wanting to drop out. I have no idea why. I get C's & D's but i just cant bring myself to just go through it like last year. I dont know why but i'm considering dropping out. And i already know its a bad idea but i barely go to school anyway and i think it'll be easier if i just go get my GED. But i heard that some employers frown upon it instead of a high school diploma. Any way i'm asking you (any of you) if you think its a good idea to drop out and get my GED then maybe get trained in a feild early.Or just stay in school and be depressed.All comments are welcome. Thanks for helping me with my probelm!
