i sold a ipod shuffle to a buyer in nigeria but he paid me via paypal but the money has not been credited yet. just wanna know could this be a fraud buyer?.

Pay pal is a really safe way to pay. I would think that you should get your money before you send they ipod away.

Wait till it gets credited.
But then again Pay pal is a really bad way to go. They have riped off several friends of mine. You can read all about them by typing should I use Pay pal into a google search.
Oh, and Nigeria is a hot spot for criminal undertakings. They are making millions off the US by defrauding innocent Americans.
The biggest thing they have going right now is sending someone FAKE "travelers checks" that they want the person to deposit into there account and then pull out the money and either send them the product or western Union the money. When the person finds out the travelers checks are no good it's too late.
And they can't get there money back.

Do not ship item until paypal has verified that funds have been credited to your account. It is difficult to determine whether the buyer is honest or fraudulent (even with sales in same country). If you gave a certain number of days for payment to be received and $ has not been tranferred to your account, you can cancel the transaction.

If you have recieve notification from paypal that a payment has been recived then everything should be fine. If it's just the buyer saying, "I've paid you," then wait for for the money to come through paypal. You can always just wait for the transaction to finalize either way.

Ther is a chance it could be and also there could be from watever network you sold iton bu via paypal is very safe ive used it before and it worked out fine with me...

it is safe. if no money comes in 2-4 days, contact ebay and report him for fraud and theft.

Well you can contact pay pal and check on it. Pay pal itself is reputable company so you should have no problem. Just go to www.paypal.com and click on contact us.

It should still be ok........if you got it through ebay, check to see if he is a verified user.
