help students to prepare for the work force. Is the public school system able to give higher schooler skills to enter into a job or trade after high school because not everyone goes to college.

hi,
i am planning to write xat, feb mat 07, nmat and MH-CET. that is good .. but the thing is , i haven started my preparation for these exams and horrors of horrors, i am weak in quant.
is there anyone who can give me a honest opinion on if its too late to start pre and score a good percentile?
i am targeting colleges like LIBA, welingkar, goa inst of management, kj somaiya, jmanalal baja int.
can anyone tell me when the MH-CET is conducted?

I am off at the minute having injured my knee. I have been signed off for at least 3 weeks. Trouble is other than my good buddies at YA, I feel quite isolated. I can't drive at the mo and live in a very rural area. I am also at Uni part time and whilst the lecture notes and that are online, I am missing so much by not actually being there. I have emailed the lecturers who are being as helpful as they can but I am in my fifth year of six year degree and cannot defer a year as Law Society will only accept degrees done in 6 years max. How can I stop feeling out of control about this? I am trying to study on line and from books but it really is not the same. I don't want my overall mark to suffer.

I have to buy a text book for my Maths course and when I look it up in Whsmith.co.uk it comes up with a Hardback copy with 544 pages or a paperback copy with 128 pages. Obviously the Paperback copy is cheaper but if I buy it will it be a completely different book than the one that I'm trying to buy?!?

I current take Public Relations Management. Other than Media studies is there any other available course in PR?

A lot of people (at least in my country) think the Mathematics are the key of the knowledge and are what make you be smart. In some way that's true, you can use math for solve some problem like "my girlfriend is vanishing"... we know.. we know

I think the mathematics are important, but aren't the key to the triumph or the most powerful tool. A lot of people think if you are a Math Master, you are so smart, .. like: "the mathematics teacher is the brain of the school", "my teacher of math is a genius... "

iF you don't know mathematics - can't you be agenius??

do you think a Nobel Prize person is a math genius? Rigoberta Menchu or Octavio Paz aren't I guess....

I am a freshman in high school and would like to start plannig for afterwards. I want to be a vet. My teacher suggest I figure out the payment plans from what money I have to work with. Three questions, (Im in Arlington Texas) Whats a good college for vets? What is their monthly payments? And what is a good job to work during highschool/college?

I'm in college right now, and I'm considering switching my major.
I ideally had early childhood education as my first choce, switched it to aerospace engineering, and want to switch it back again.

I never really knew, but does anyone know the average pay for an elementary teacher in the state of texas - both public and private schools?

I also considered majoring in elementary education, and then getting an associate degree in ultrasound technician, so I could work at a hospital or try to be one of the nurses in the newborn section - with at least some experience???

Or would i just have to major in nursing in order to be able to be a nurse in a newborn section in the hospital???
