I realize that using using abbreviations and eliminating capitalization may be quicker, but am I the only one who can spell? Is it really that difficult for people to use words in context or use the proper form of "to"? I'm just saying it seems like these forums invite morons to butcher the English language, for example: using "don't" instead of "doesn't" as in: It doesn't work to use the word "don't" in the first half of this sentence. I'm not trying to be a jerk but I find this annoying. I'm sure I'm going to receive several angry responses to this, but I'm sure I won't be bothered by them since I won't understand what the writer is trying to convey. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I make mistakes too (proper form used in place of "as well" or "also") This isn't directed at the occasional mispelling or impoper use of grammar. All I'm asking is for people is to at least try to use written language correctly.

There's a lot of debate right now about the issue of homework, and whether or not it is beneficial to students at all. Studies show that there is no correlation between homework and academic achievement for gradeschool students, little to none for middle school students, and some correlation for highschool students(although the two might not actually effect eachother).
Some think that homework should be abolished completely.
What are your thoughts?

I am absolutely appalled at the number of people that spell incorrectly on here...come on people...if you are not a good speller then use the spellchecker...you never know, you may learn something.
