Hi, I am from Korea, I am staying WV now. I am thinking about going college in USA. I wanna specialize commercial planner/producer and copywirter. I am thinking go to Ivy league or somewhere good? famous?(Like stanford, it is not Ivy league but good college) I cannot choose the word but I hope you realize what I mean. I wanna go "good" college, because after I graduate here maybe I have to get back to my country and I will get the job. If I go university that not famous or not good, someone who hire empolyee is not gonna hire me. Because college is really important thing in Korea. So I wanna know about university which has my major and requirements about it.
Also I wanna know about scholarship that I can get.

I really hate writing essays and all. When I do I usually write about something else other then the essay topic. I also get errors in getting the correct modals in a sentence. Do you have any suggestions on writing a good essay format and mastering modals in writing?

I live in a large city and I attend a large university. I commute mainly because its cheaper to live at home and because my house is not at all far from my college. However, I often wonder if I am missing out on a significant part of the college experience. Most of my college friends live on campus, so they always talk about what they do outside of class. I do hang out with them outside of class every now and then, but then again I feel as if my social life is not all that it could be. If I am on campus, I spend most of my time at studio since I'm an architecture major and have lots of work for it. Now that I can apply for housing next year, I wonder if spending so much money on a dorm is worth the experience that I may be missing out on? Will I really get something out of it? I am comfortable at home with my own room and bathroom. I get along well with my parents, but since I'm an only child I sometimes feel as if they want me to stick around for a while. Should I try something new?

I have a problem playing w/ computer games like world of warcraft and battlefield... I used to go to college but I stopped because I was playing diablo 2 at the time which was super addicting and got me lazy in school which led me to drop it.

Now I have this suped up computer where I can play about any game I want and I want to quit playing those waste of time games and get back to school to do something.

I have this idea to stop playing games by giving away my awesome computer and buy a very crappy one so I would be uncapable of playing games. With the nongaming one I could just surf the net.

Any ideas?

What college do you go to? and do you like it and why? Im starting to look at colleges and dont really know where to start. I love the beach and I wanna be a physical therapist or own my own dance studio one day. Im open to anything except community colleges and I prefer california. I have just finished my BSc in Biochemistry but i am a bit confused on what path to follow , my 2 choices are Biotechnology and a direct entry into a masters in nursing(MSN) In nurse anesthetia or acute care nursing . I love both courses but you know both jobs would be lucrative but i dont know which is better.Help me if you can

I want to attend medical school.. for sure..

But I have a few obstacles.. My family has an uncertain status in the US and I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford Med School..

As I understand it.. premed is simply a track of courses and not a major (even though when I search on collegeboard and USNews.com by majors, it gives premed as a major.. why?), I can major in any subject I like?

My dad advises me to major in Allied Medical.. first off.. we're not clear on what exactly allied medical is..

I have keen interests in business and physics, which I would like to major in, with my final goal of still going to medical school..

Basically.. Med School is ambiguous because of money.. so would it be advisable to major in Allied medical?

I dont understand the premed process.. any suggestions?
