The Official Guide for GMAT Review (11th Edition) is essential for anyone studying for the GMAT. This contains 800 questions from old GMAT tests and is the best source of GMAT practice questions.

I worked at Barnes & Noble four over four years, and I had nearly hundreds of customers ask me "what's the best study guide for this test" or "that test" I'll tell you the same thing I told them. The study guides do nothing as far as giving you the information you need. That you need to learn from years of schooling. All the study guides do is prepare you for the test format, that's it. Here's what you do, go to the book store and find a GMAT study guide that has an actual copy of a previous years test and look and the test. if you feel you are accostomed to that type of test, then just get the cheapest GMAT study guide available with a copy of old GMAT tests. If the test format looks unfamiliar to you, get a GMAT study guide with the largest number of old tests.
