I'm studying to get my MEd in College Student Affairs. I'm doing so because I like to encourage the development of students outside the classroom. I'm very interested in getting black and latino students into and graduating from college. I get excited helping students realize their dreams and helping them work towards attaining those dreams.

I'm studying a Masters in Children's Literature. I look at everything from picture books to teenage fiction. It's cool and I get to meet famous children's authors. It's helped me to establish links with publishers, and I hope to write and illustrate my own picture book soon. :0)

Psychology & Philosophy
Psych because I want to get a PhD in Counseling and it is very interesting for me to learn about people, their behavior, attitudes, etc.
Philosophy because I love it.
